A village suspended on a majestic mountain
A place of meditation and connection with one’s self At an altitude of 850 meters asl and 51km from Beirut, the village of El Ebreh, is suspended on a majestic mountain overlooking the Adonis Valley. The root “Ebra” “عبر” means to cross and pass.
Around 15 houses and agricultural lands are supplied with water from its plentiful springs.
It is the last of a string of villages and the road ends there, which is why it is an ideal place to enjoy tranquillity, meditation and connection with the self. The village is renowned for its marvelous sunsets and for stargazing.
