A camping night at the Holy Cross site
A night of contemplation in a wild landscape
An annual pilgrimage followed by a night mass and camping organized by the “Yahchouch Cross Youth” takes place at the Holy Cross site, in the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve, every night of the 13th – 14th of September, remembered as the day when the True Cross was found.
The event consists of a night hike, night mass, camping and food.
Visitors take time to walk, pray and meditate while on their way up to the Holy Cross site. After the mass, they gather around a fire for prayers and social discussions.
