The sweet taste of northern Jordan
An experience of taste and nature to discover Jordanian honey guided by an expert beekeeper
Northern Jordan has a favourable climate and nature for bees. In the hills around Umm Qais these insects find an ideal habitat because of the good balance between the rich local flora and a fair abundance of water.
This experience, guided by Yousef, a skilled local beekeeper, will allow you to walk among the hives and discover how these wonderful insects live, thanks to his expert guidance. It is not only a valuable naturalistic experience but also an opportunity to taste the different varieties of his honey.
Guests will visit the beekeeping site, listen to an informative presentation by Youssef, and interact with the hives themselves while wearing specific beekeeper suits.
