Cycling in the green north of Jordan
The thrill of cycling through the hills and mountains around Umm Qais The experience is based on an exploration of up to three hours of the unique landscape surrounding Umm Qais. These are easy routes designed to enjoy the beauty of these areas, with panoramic views, valleys, springs and many other natural attractions.
A guide will accompany you on the tour, explaining the history of the region, pointing out the main attractions you encounter on the way, or around you, such as the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights, the Arabian Dam and much more. In a special area bordering Syria, surrounded by a very special landscape, you will discover exciting remote corners of Jordan that will stay in your memory for a long time. Gadara Cycling offers cycling tours for those who wish to see the undulating farmland of Umm Qais and its breathtaking views.

How to reach
By car:
From Irbid take Ateyat Bani Hani St. and then follow the signs for Umm Qais. The total distance is approximately 26 km. From Amman it’s about 120 km.
By walk:
From the centre of the village, walk up towards the archaeological site following the signs and walking for about 1 km.

The experience includes experienced guides, bicycle, helmet, first aid equipment, water bottles, lunch box, support car & maintenance, transportation from and to Beit Al Baraka and trailers are available for children aged from 1 to 5 years.
