A sweet gastronomic experience with the flavour of Aqaba!
Hooh is a traditional Aqaba sweet made of several layers of dough with nuts, butter, honey, condensed milk, molasses and cream This experience will give you the unique opportunity to learn how to make this local dessert and then enjoy it fresh!
Participants will be welcomed with an Arabic coffee and instructed on the nature of Hooh, its meaning, preparation and uses. Afterwards, participants will put on gloves and an apron and go into the kitchen to start the preparation of this characteristic dessert.
A local chef will guide participants, step by step, and assist them throughout the process of preparing the Hooh. Once ready, the Hooh can be tasted directly or taken home. At the end of the experience, the chef and his family will enjoy a cup of local herbal tea with the participants.
