The traditional Palestinian story narrated by Mr. Isaac Al-Hroub
This museum contains many traditional artifacts related to the history and heritage of Palestine
Visiting the Museum is an opportunity to learn about the traditional Palestinian story of “The clay water jar” and to enjoy listening to traditional music using Palestinian folk musical instruments. You will have the chance to hear Mr. Isaac Al-Hroub narrating stories and poems about the ancient times.
This museum is one of the many museums owned by Mr. Isaac Al-Hroub around Palestine.
Al Reef Palestinian Museum displays agricultural equipment dating back hundreds of years: utility such as pots, jars, furniture and more, in addition to badges dating back to the Ottoman period.
In 2021 Mr. Isaac won the first prize in the “Nada Al-Atrash award for creative writing”.
He plays a distinguished role in preserving the tangible cultural heritage by documenting it in books, in addition to collecting some of it in his museums. Mr. Isaac wrote and published a book (atlas of the Palestinian rural heritage) in Bethlehem, published by Diyar in 2015. It listed all the antiques, equipment, clothes and musical instruments that were used in Palestine.
