A Roman flavour
Walk our ancestral path
The Roman Stairs connect two main entrances of the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve, Qehmez and Mchati and are part of the local and regional heritage of Jabal Moussa, along with Roman emperor Hadrian’s Latin inscriptions engraved on some rocks. This section of the Roman path is the best preserved in Lebanon. This easy trail (1.9 km) leads to 2 different villages through wonderful scenery.
