The Budding Botanist
Learning about flora through art A botanical exhibit center consisting of a herbarium and an activity room, to introduce and teach students about the shapes, colors and botanical characteristics of the different species found on Jabal Moussa, through arts and crafts.
The herbarium preserves dried species from different genera and families, some are endemic, some have culinary uses, and some are wild native species planted for reforestation.
This beautiful exhibit is inspired by the novella “The Little Prince”, because like the story talks about a unique flower that exists only on the prince’s planet so some endemic species exist only in our mountain and can be admired here in Jabal Moussa’s herbarium. Children will be able to learn about flora biodiversity, in a fun and simple way.
