Surif is a town in Hebron Governorate located 18 km north of Hebron city in the southern part of the West Bank. The town is bordered by Beit Ummar and Safa to the east, Al Jaba to the north (Bethlehem Governorate), the 1949 armistice line to the west, and Kharas to the south.
Most of Surif's lands are for agricultural use, a high proportion of which is planted with olive trees, which is the first crop for farmers.
There are also grains, such as wheat and barley, but it is limited to some small plains. A proportion of the lands that are not used for agricultural purposes are used for grazing, and some of them are rocky and rugged areas.
