One of the oldest villages in the area of Hebron
Ancient castles and palaces dating back to the Canaanite, Roman, Fatimid, and Ayyubid eras Al-Burj is one of the oldest villages in the Hebron Governorate. It dates to the Canaanite era. It is surrounded from the east by Al-Bireh village, from north by Beit Mirsim village and from the south Al-Ramadeen. The village has several archeological sites, and the most important one is Al-Burj Castle.
